Story:
When I got to BART around 7:15, there were no trains at the station. They said there was a problem with the tracks between Fremont and Union City and that there were no SF trains so we should board a Richmond train and transfer at Bay Fair. We went about 20 MPH between Fremont and Union City stations. We got off at Bay Fair and boarded an SF train from Dublin/Pleasanton and the train was extremely packed. We weren't too delayed but very annoyed and full train.
Communication: Fair, but not all information.
Update BART.gov: No
Delay Time: about 10 minutes
Delay Overall Rating(10 being worst): 5

BART Day of Deaths
Story:
In the morning, there was a death in Colma but it didn't affect me.
I got a call from my father around 4pm saying there was a "medical emergency" at Hayward station. Sounds like a death. I got to BART around 5:45ish and there were notifications on the screens at BART as well as regular announcements about BART not going any further than Bay Fair. I called my wife and we tried to figure out if she should pick me up at Bay Fair or Dublin/Pleasanton. When I got on the train, they said there were buses from Bay Fair to South Hayward, so I told my wife that I'll make it home but late. The BART driver communicated a lot and as we got close Bay Fair, he said things are changing and we may make it past there. He was right and we were the first train to go past Bay Fair towards Fremont. We went very slow the whole way. When we got to Bay Fair, the driver said that we would not stop at Hayward, so a lady freaked out and got off the train at Bay Fair. We actually ended up stopping at Hayward.
Communication: Pretty good
Update BART.gov: Yes, but not much information
Delay Time: about 30 minutes
Delay Overall Rating(10 being worst): 7 but could have been near a 9 or 10
